POLYTOURS FB is an International Freight Forwarding company. POLYTOURS FB provides all-round cargo forwarding servicing (import & export documentation, customs clearance, pick up & delivery, etc.).
We offer a range of competitive preferential cargo rates on scheduled flights through our individual agency contracts with and preferential rates and airway bill stocks from BALKAN Cargo, BRITISH AIRWAYS, AUSTRIAN AIRLINES, AIR FRANCE, LUFTHANSA, SWISSAIR, JAT, MALEV, CSA, AEROFLOT and LAUDA AIR.
POLYTOURS FB Freight Forwarding Ltd. was set up in 1991. Since 1994 POLYTOURS FB has been a charter Flight Broker both for passenger and charter flights. By June 1996 it already entered also the present business of air cargo forwarding.
Since its entry into business in June 1996 to date, POLYTOURS FB has succeeded in winning over a steady traffic of regular customers, Bulgarian and foreign and state and private companies alike, as well as an ever-increasing number of new ones. Recently we entered the field of diplomatic mail door-to-door handling and forwarding by the appointment of Swiss Embassy in Sofia. Also our valuable achievement is the appointment of our company as exclusive customs clearance and forwarding broker for the licensee of FedEx for Bulgaria, effective 01.11.1997 and closed 31.08.1999.
Major customer areas are textile, electronic, wine industry, heavy machinery, printed materials, industrial goods etc., accounting for a cargo variety ranging from general cargo to live animals.
As to charter flights, POLYTOURS FB has good experience in accomplishing cargo and passenger charter flights and charter programs. Our company has a very good standing with small-scale Bulgarian aviation companies and through these relationships favours availability of preferential quotes for IL-18 and AN-12 aircraft.
POLYTOURS FB has two offices located at Sofia Airport, within a walking distance from passenger and cargo terminals and from the Airport Customs Department branch. These offices have computerized processing of AWBs, customs declarations, financial documentation etc. and phone/fax/e-mail/telex communications. On the personnel side POLYTOURS FB features skilled and energetic people /a total of nine/ trained in I.A.T.A. - F.I.A.T.A. Cargo Staff Programs as well as in general Marketing and Sales skills.
POLYTOURS FB maintains its own bonded warehouse for import and export, officially certified by the Bulgarian Customs Department, very close to Sofia Airport. The warehouse is equipped with 24-hour security monitoring radio-channel system and 24-hour guard shift.
On the service side, the competitive price-list of services /for storage, handling etc./ and its close proximity to the Airport, makes the warehouse a handy asset of POLYTOURS FB's cargo processing.
Our company is in a process of creating and implementation of quality management system in accordance with International Standard ISO9002, which is supposed to be completed by first half of 1999.
